During the Covid lockdown, Annika Sorenstam, an LPGA Champion, and her husband Mike McGee began experimenting with drink mixes. They were frustrated with the lack of flavor and watered-down nature of ready-to-drink beverages available in the market and wanted to create a beverage that offered rich flavor like hand-crafted cocktails, minus the excess calories and sugar.
